The Canada Club Soccer Inaugural Symposium will be held at the Renaissance Airport Hotel in Toronto on April 14th and 15th, 2007. 

What is Canada Club Soccer?

Over the past few months, there have been discussions amongst some elite youth soccer clubs on topics surrounding the state of youth soccer and player development in Canada. These discussions have led to the announcement of the establishment of an advocacy group to influence the governance of the sport, which we have named "Canada Club Soccer". This group will provide a forum to focus on advancing and supporting the concerns and views of the clubs directly to the various governing associations in Canadian soccer.

What are the goals of the Inaugural Symposium?

The goal of the Symposium is to bring together representatives of the top 60-80 clubs from across Canada to discuss common issues relating to the structure and governance of soccer in Canada and to develop proposals for the betterment of the game. We will also develop a consensus on the formation and governance structure of Canada Club Soccer and the next steps and priorities of the organization.

All technical and administrative soccer club leaders.

The Renaissance Hotel is located very close to Lester B. Pearson Airport in Toronto. A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel for Symposium attendees for the nights of April 13th and April 14th. Reservations can be made directly with the hotel at 1-800-630-2594 or 416-675-6100. Please state that you are with Canada Club Soccer to receive special group rates. These rates will also be available two days prior and two days following the Symposium. The room rate is $115 per night plus applicable taxes. Maximum number of adults per room is 4.
